01 September 1915 Because of his successes in Suvla, Mustafa Kemal was awarded with a silver medal.
02 September 1915 -Mustafa Kemal wrote a letter to Dr. Ernest Jack, a German diplomat in Istanbul who collected donations for the Ottoman soldiers, wounded in the Dardanelles.

-Mustafa Kemal’s chief of Staff Major Izzettin Calislar became the Chief Staff of 16th Army Corps.

04 September 1915 -Mustafa Kemal inspected 4th and 8th Divisions in Suvla.

-Enver Pasha’s reply to Liman von Sanders about reorganisations in the Suvla Group, “...I approve your suggestion about Mustafa Kemal’s command of 16th Army corps...”

6 September 1915 Bulgaria sided with the Central Powers
14 September 1915 -Mustafa Kemal’s letter in French to Sultane Petroff wife of Bulgarian General Petroff “... We resisted against the enemy, as we desired. We paralysed them in Suvla, as we did in the Anzac Cove months ago. I believe general is informed about these issues, but I think to hear the news form me would please him. I believe I should thank to Lord. Kitchener and General Hamilton as they have given me the chance to win these victories.”

-Mustafa Kemal inspected Abdurrahman Slope with the commanders of 2nd and 15th Army Corpses.

20 September 1915 Mustafa Kemal became ill, Marshall Liman von Sanders visited him and sent him his doctor.
23 September 1915 German diplomat Dr. Ernest Jackh has visited Mustafa Kemal. Mustafa Kemal told him “Like the Russians we are crammed in the land. Russia will collapse, because I have closed the black Sea. By this means, I think different form the Allies. However, we are about to collapse because of same reason. In fact, we are settled on the shores of the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, and the Indian Ocean, but we can not risk sailing through any ocean. We will never able to defeat a naval force.” (During Dr. Jackh’s visit, Mustafa Kemal was ill and this conversation was made in his tent. In his memories, Dr. Jackh says, “Mustafa Kemal was very ill. He was malaria, so I went to his tent to see him. He was so weak that I could not recognise in at first. Despite his condition, feverishly discussed about the political issues.”
24 September 1915 Commander-in-Chief Enver Pasha and official Colonel Ismet went to Galipoli.
26 September 1915 - Commander-in-Chief Enver Pasha visited the headquarters of Northern Army.

-Later he inspected Suvla front and returned to the headquarters of 5th Army (He did not visited the headquarters of Suvla Group commanded by Mustafa Kemal)

27 September 1915 Mustafa Kemal sent his resignation to Marshall von Sanders: “...His excellency Commander-in-Chief (Enver Pasha) honoured the headquarters of Northern, Southern and Asian Groups by his visits during his recent inspection. Unfortunately, he ignored the Suvla Group... under these conditions while his excellency’s dislike to us is apparent; it is impossible for us to continue our duty. You excellency, please accept my resignation...”
